Did you know that clubs are obliged to provide Ground Officials for each and every game hosted on their home ground?
If there is not a Ground Official present for a game the referee is well within their rights to not commence a game and the club will be fined.
As part of the once-per-season team duty of running the canteen, volunteers are sought to step into the role of Ground Official for all the games hosted that day at QEP.
Please see attached information from the CDFSA on what the role entails. It’s actually quite straightforward so long as everyone behaves themselves!
